<div>Was missing on the sunny weather last Thursday, so grabbed my friend and her kid (got them both to play hooky) and drive around the delta. ideally there would have been a river to jump into...but we settled for throwing rocks into the various rivers we found. Still got the hot weather and lobbing rocks at anything is very much a 5 year old's favorite thing to do. <br/> <br/>there seemed to be a lot of private property or bad access to most of where we explored...Being as the whole delta area is a lot closer that going up to the Russian River, does anyone know of a good spot that's somewhat kid friendly (i.e., the cops aren't going to haul us away for trespassing or incurring some neighbor's shotgun?) <br/> <br/>By the way, it's a great place to explore, and lots of curvy roads.
